Cooper grew up in the sticks outside Monroe, WA, the oldest of five. With the exception of 4 years in Spokane for college, he has remained a local boy. He has maintained a passion to serve the Lord in church ministry throughout his adult life in college and now for the last six years while working as a Manufacturing Engineer in the aerospace industry. For over four years he helped lead a young adult ministry in Monroe, discipling young people to live their whole lives in submission to the Lord Jesus. Currently as a bi-vocational pastor at HPC, he is passionate about discipling others to become biblically literate, both in knowledge and in their ability to interpret every facet of their lives through the worldview of Scripture. He is a man of many diverse interests, and when you don’t see him teaching a high school bible lesson or giving an announcement, you might find him devouring books, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, playing tennis, training for a triathlon, or perhaps even scuba diving in the Puget Sound.
